How long have you been a Pro-Domme?

I have been a professional dominatrix for 28yrs.

Have you seen the scene change over the years?

The scene has changed tremendously over the past 28yrs. When I first started in this business, no one was manscaped. Now you’re hard pressed to find a client who isnt manscaped. Men are taking more ownership in their appearance and their sexuality. The average age of my client has gotten younger, they are more open minded, willing to explore and refuse to live a sexless life hidden in the shadows. I also see a large portion of couples like never before. It appears to me that BDSM is much more mainstream.

Fifty Shades of Grey part II will soon be coming out soon. Do you think the film has helped or hurt the BDSM lifestyle? Do you think is was a realistic view of the BDSM lifestyle?

I know lots of people in the scene hate this movie, but it has done nothing but helped my business. It has brought light to a subject that has always been hidden and taboo. It has started a dialogue that wasn’t there before. Couples are having more discussions about their sex lives and their sexual fantasies and that is always a good thing! Through watching this movie people men and women have been inspired to explore there sexually with more depth and context than ever before. As far as the movie being a realistic view…its a movie no different than Star Wars, Cinderella or The Thomas Crown Affair. No one said it was a documentary. Movies are about fantasy, fun and what could be… We all need HOPE!   

What do you think makes a good sub?

Someone who is open minded and willing to explore. With those two things I can work miracles, without – it is almost impossible to be a good sub or have a great session 

What makes a good Pro-Domme?

Hands down it would be someone who listens. When you are a Pro-Domme your role is much like a therapist. It is all about your clients wants, needs and desires and how best to facilitate those within the session.

I’ve noticed that none of your pictures show your face. Why would that be?

I don”t show my face or post nude pictures of myself because I am like my clients. I have a family, children and another part to my life that is private, and the internet is anything BUT private. Just because I have chosen this lifestyle for myself doesn’t mean that I have the right to chose that for my family or children. My clients do not want their pictures identifying them in a session posted on the internet and neither do I. As for why I don’t post nude pictures of myself….well why would I? So many women do that these days that its almost just common place. They leave NOTHING to the imagination! However, I respect myself much more than that and why would I strive to be common??
